Disclosure guidance
1.Choose collaboration deliberately
Review Open and Target collaboration options in the current affiliate tools. Open collaboration supports discovery; targeted invitations let you approach selected creators. Confirm product eligibility and current account access.
2.Set an affordable commission
Model the commission with shipping, samples and platform costs. There is no universal profitable rate. Define which products participate, how samples are approved and whether any fixed-fee deliverables require a separate agreement.
3.Build a useful creator pack
Include product facts, truthful demonstrations, restrictions and disclosure expectations. Offer direction without scripting fake experiences. Record the offer, sample status and next follow-up.
Worked example
Illustrative: test a manageable cohort before opening expensive sampling to a large audience.
Watch for this mistake
A free product is a material connection; disclosure matters even without a cash payment.
Practical assignment
Build a one-page affiliate offer and a sample approval checklist.
