1.Make product information literal
Use an accurate product name, category, variants and dimensions. Descriptive information helps the buyer identify the actual item; repeated search phrases do not replace useful specifications.
2.Show the product honestly
Use clear product images and demonstrations with accurate labels. Cover what is included, how it is used and relevant limitations. Do not imply unsupported medical outcomes or disguise the size of the item.
3.Remove purchase uncertainty
Check price, stock, shipping details and returns information. Turn recurring customer questions into listing improvements. Track visits, orders and refund reasons together, not conversion rate in isolation.
Worked example
Illustrative: a beverage listing should clearly explain count, size, ingredients and storage rather than relying on a lifestyle slogan.
Watch for this mistake
A high-converting but misleading listing creates returns and compliance risk.
